Frequently Asked Questions
Preparing for your reading
At Honey Bee & Iris, I believe tarot cards and astrology provide an opportunity to gain insight into the future, as well as an understanding of one’s past. With personalized services, I strive to give clients the guidance and clarity they need.
All my readings are designed to help clients for their highest and greatest good on their life path, and make decisions that are in their best interests. Each reading is unique, specifically tailored to the querent using tarot and oracle cards, the natal chart or psychic information received. I specialize in readings with a focus on personal growth and guidance. With careful consideration, interpretation and intuition, I will answer any questions you might have. All readings are confidential.

How should I prepare for my first reading?
The day of your reading, I recommend spending a few minutes relaxing, meditating, listening to music, or whatever makes you feel relaxed and groovy. To get the most out of your reading, I suggest writing down any questions you want to ask before the session. It’s also a good idea to have a note pad and pen available to take notes during the reading, as sometimes some information doesn’t immediately make sense. Having notes to refer to after the session can be very helpful.
**Please note that during your session with me it is up to you whether or not you tell me your question or topic. I will pull cards and connect intuitively regardless. This validates the information is coming from spirit, as well as keeping any subconscious bias out. Context can provide a more in-depth answer, but is not necessary for the reading.

How do I choose a reader that's right for me?
**You have the ability to connect to your guides at anytime. They're always listening and waiting for you to ask for their guidance. Every human is capable of connecting to the other side, some are naturally better at it than others, like any skill set. Professional readers are here to help connect the dots.
I like to look for a reader that is ethical, grounded, and has my highest and greatest good in mind. Someone whose message resonates with me. Tarot and psychic readings are for entertainment purposes only. Some readers are more entertainment based, and make wild claims. Some readers will tell you what you want to hear, some will be more honest in what they see. You will connect with some readers/readings differently, so choose an ethical reader that resonates with you. A reading is picking up the current energy, and giving us an idea of likely outcomes if the energy continues in that direction. Remember that people have free will and do change their minds, thus, the outcomes change.
**Be very cautious and do your homework before sending any money to anyone that does the following:
-
Unsolicited offers for readings via email, DM, etc. The "reader" often says they felt drawn to you, or spirit told them to give you a message. Many scammers use fake profiles that look legit to con your out of your money. I will never DM, text, email, etc to offer you a reading.
-
Beware of readers that claim you're cursed, and then up-charge for more information or to remove said curse.
-
Use words that are buzzy (ex: "Soulmate" or "Twin Flame"). Heartbreak sucks. And when you're heartbroken, you're vulnerable. True "Twin Flames" are often not romantic partners. Same thing applies to the term "Soulmate". Love has many forms, and soulmates can be and often are platonic friendships. Interference in another's free will because some guru told you that that person is your twin flame is un-ethical and dangerous.

How often should I get a reading?
Everyone is different. Some clients like regularly scheduled readings (like a spiritual haircut). Some clients are really tuned in and connected to spirit and just want an unbiased opinion on a situation that has come up. It really boils down to what resonates with you. I'm honored to be your chosen reader, regardless of the frequency.
